Nice Solos: George Harrison Sun, 06 Jul 2008 23:46:43 -0500 - Guitar

The best guitar solos on Meet the Beatles (With the Beatles in the UK) are "Don't Bother Me" and "I Wanna Be Your Man". To my ears engineer Norman Smith, who did these sessions, did a better job of capturing good guitar sounds than his successor, Geoff Emerick. I'll go so far as to say that Emerick and George Martin tended to emasculate the sound of an electric guitar, both in the way in which it was recorded and in the mix.

CSS Charts Mon, 14 Apr 2008 00:09:32 -0500 - CSS, HTML, Web Design, Semantic Web,

Page Peel Effect Sat, 12 Apr 2008 12:52:57 -0500 - Page Peel, Dogear, Flash, Web Design

The page peel AKA dog ear effect has been added to the home page. The javascript and Flash .SWFs were created by Christian Harz and can be found at his website. Nice work, Christian! Now for me to find a Flash-less script, so I can view pages peeling on my iPhone.
